President Tinubu returns from the Eid-El-Fitr holiday in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Monday following a one-week Eid-El-Fitr holiday in Lagos.

Upon his arrival, top government officials, including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, and others, greeted him at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport.

During his time in Lagos, the President received many guests, including representatives from the organized private sector, traditional leaders, members of the National Assembly, and state governors.

The President left Abuja for Lagos last week to commemorate Eid-El-Fitr, the conclusion of the yearly Ramadan fast.

Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s media aide, stated on Saturday that the president will commemorate the anniversary of the end of Ramadan by observing a moment of prayer for Nigeria and spending time with family as a sign of respect for the solemnity of the event.

Ngelale stated that the president will continue to carry out his official responsibilities both during and after the Eid-el-Fitr vacations.
