The office of the First Lady advises Nigerians through her initiative

Earlier today, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, during the reception of Amina Mohammed, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, dropped economic and survival nuggets. The basis of her advice was to improve the agricultural sector in Nigeria.

The Renewed Hope Initiative has the general goal of bringing individuals out of poverty, educating them, and guiding them towards a better life for their family members. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss plans to move forward the foundation, Renewed Hope Initiative, an organisation whose drive hinged on employment, health care, agricultural aid, and poverty alleviation. However, Senator Oluremi’s advice was on the improvement of agriculture, especially by youths, to sail through the storm of economic hardship.

According to her, “The President has made the right decisions. These decisions will help us build a Nigeria that is more respected. We should be more accountable as a people as regards our resources.” In order to champion this course, the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has played his part, so she in turn expects Nigerians to do the same since agriculture is the one focal and untapped sector of the economy.

In furtherance, she pledged to embark on her monthly Food Outreach Program for IDPs and Persons with Disabilities.
