Ahmad Olanrewaju Belgore, the former Justice of the Court of Appeal, dies at 71
On April 18, 2023, Belgore ceased serving as a Justice of the Court of Appeal, having reached the age of 70 years of retirement. In his condolence message, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq expressed sadness at the death of Justice Belgore, who passed away on Tuesday night.
“It is with shock that I received the news of the demise of Justice Ahmad Belgore. He was a complete gentleman and a thorough judicial officer who served the nation meritoriously in various capacities, both nationally and internationally.
“He was one of the finest justices that the Ilorin Emirate has ever produced. He contributed in no small measure to the growth and development of the judiciary and humanity in general,” he commiserated with the Ilorin Emirates and the Belgores.
