Terrorists abduct 87 in new Kaduna attack.
Terrorists abducted 87 people on Sunday night after launching a new attack on Kajuru-Station, a village in Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna.Harisu Dari, a member of the Kajuru Station Youths, verified the event for our correspondent in Kaduna on Monday.
Harisu stated that the terrorists also stormed into other establishments and took food and other things.He claimed they stormed the town around 10 p.m.The incident occurred just two days after 15 women and a man were kidnapped in the Dogon-Noma neighbourhood of the same municipality.
Recent kidnappings in Kajuru and Chikun LGs have heightened tensions in the state.As of Monday morning, there had been no touch with the abducted locals, heightening concerns.
With these new incidents, the total number of abductions in Kajuru and Chikun Local Government Areas in the last two weeks has surpassed 172.
Worries are growing as these areas become hotbeds of terrorist activity.This reckless attack illustrates the persistent security difficulties that Kaduna State residents endure.
The absence of quick responses from security authorities heightens the impacted populations’ anxiety and dissatisfaction.
