The supposed suspension of the APC National Chairman is null and void.
Previously, the State Working Committee of the Kano APC chapter suspended the ward party leaders who had suspended Ganduje. However, the APC in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area fired those responsible for Ganduje’s suspension, thwarting the move.
Proximously following the suspension of Ganduje, the Chairman, Inusa Dawanau, informed journalists that those responsible for the suspension had been apprehended for anti-party activities, resulting in the exposure of their meeting records to the opposition.
The Ganduje Ward Executive Committee members and executives of the All Progressives Congress in Dawakin Tofa Local Government have expressed disapproval of the alleged suspension of the ruling party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje. Alhaji Ahmed Koko, the chairman of the APC Ganduje Ward, claims that non-APC members in the ward announced the alleged suspension of the national chairman.
According to Koko, “Those who addressed the press conference were sponsored by the NNPP state government, and from the record of the party at the Ward, Local Government, and State, they are not card-carrying members of the APC,” Koko said while addressing a press conference in Kano late Monday evening on behalf of the Ward and Local Government Executive Committee members. “The Ward and Local Government Executives, having identified the persons involved in this unfortunate situation, have already prepared to charge them to court for impersonation and calculated attempts to embarrass and dent the image of the Party and that of the National Chairman.”
