While playing for England, John Stones and Kyle Walker hobbled around; they missed Thursday’s Manchester City training; Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Magalhaes pulled out of their national team lineups; and Sunday’s Premier League match between Manchester City and Arsenal will be a title-deciding encounter at the Etihad, but important players are racing to recover in time for the match.
This is a highly anticipated and important match between City and Arsenal, with Arsenal leading Liverpool at the top of the rankings on goal differential and City only one point behind.
However, there is selection uncertainty on both sides following an international break.
