Are you ready to turn your knowledge into instant cash?
Welcome to BantuQuiz, where you can showcase your general knowledge.
You come with nothing and could leave with ₦1,000,000.
Contestants can choose from a set of categories to centre their questions on three questions. The remainder seven questions are random.
The categories are:
- General,
- Politics, and
- Africa.
A. Ten sets of questions, each worth ₦25,000. If all ten are answered correctly, a Clean Sheet is earned with ₦1,000,000. Contestants will have 15 seconds to answer each question or forfeit it. Every correct question is awarded ₦25,000. Contestants must stay on to answer all questions. If the first two questions are answered correctly, ₦50,000 is earned, but if the third is wrong, a deduction of ₦25,000 will apply. Every incorrect question deducts ₦25,000, whilst every correct one awards ₦25,000. If all ten questions are answered incorrectly, nothing is earned. If four questions are answered correctly and six incorrectly, contestants earn nothing because a deficit of ₦50,000 is inherited.
B. Contestants earn a Lifeline for every three correct answers. A Lifeline grants the option of a second chance. For example, if an incorrect answer is given, a Lifeline earned through three correct answers can be used to give it another shot. If nine questions are answered correctly, three Lifelines are earned, granting the option to answer the tenth question four times. However, even if the tenth question is correctly answered using a Lifeline, a Clean Sheet of ₦1,000,000 is missed. See C below.
C. A Clean Sheet is required to earn the ₦1,000,000 benchmark. All ten questions must be answered correctly for a Clean Sheet and ₦1,000,000. Using a Lifeline to correctly answer one or more of ten questions won’t qualify as a Clean Sheet. In that case, Contestants would be awarded ₦25,000 for each correct question. A Clean Sheet can only be achieved without a Lifeline.
