A fire broke out in a hostel belonging to female students at the University of Benin on Tuesday.A social media user named Ruth Nifemi posted a video of a fire incident on the social platform X.
The fire occurred inside the Hall 2 dorm of the institution, destroying some documents and valuables.
According to Ruth, Hall 2 at UNIBEN caught fire, and the fire service arrived without any water.
The fire destroyed the entire room and its records.We still don’t know what caused the fire.
