Iran Retaliates With Over 300 Missiles and Drones at Israel

On the 1st of April 2024, Israel attacked the Iranian Embassy in Damascus, killing seven military personnel. On the night of the 13th of April 2024, Iran attacked Israel directly, launching over 300 missiles and drones from its territory into the Jewish state.

For the first time in over forty years, Israel has seen a direct attack on its territory from Iran. In an unprovoked attack, Israel bombs the Iranian Embassy in Damascus, Syria. Though it has neither confirmed nor deny it, you would think that the sanctimonious US, UK, France, or Germany would come out and condemn such a blatant violation of international law and diplomatic mission. However, no! They did not. Instead, they defended Israel. Based on the UN charter, an attack on a diplomatic mission qualifies as an attack on a country’s territory. Thus, casus belli could apply. The inviolability of a country’s diplomatic mission is at the heart of the entire framework of foreign representation of a country to another.

Sometimes, it can be hard to take white people seriously. If you focus on the media, which the West dominates, you would think the US, UK, Germany, France, and other Western countries are such angels. Looking at the Israeli-Gaza War, you would think Israel is such a powerful country, but no, attacking unarmed civilians is not strength. The US and the UK intervened in Jordan, Iraq, and Syria to shoot some of the Iranian missiles and drones. Still, many landed in Israel.

The might of the US, its genocidal accomplice, the UK, and the genocidal state itself, Israel, could not stop missiles and drones coming from a country they have sanctioned for over forty years. Was Iran justified in raining bombs on Israel? Let us know what you think.
