Is Islam the Antithesis to Progress?
In Pakistan, over 64% of all marriages are between first cousins. In Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Sudan, over 50% of all marriages are between first cousins, whilst in Afghanistan, Mauritania, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran, the numbers are almost 50%. All these countries have a common denominator: they are all Islamic countries. Last summer in Azerbaijan, the government introduced a ban on unions between close relatives, and immediately, marriage numbers dropped by 54%.
Consanguineous marriages are unions between two individuals who are closely related by blood. The Islamic world is the only remaining culture that still practises consanguineous marriages. All other cultures have evolved, even Black African, non-Islamic ones. Congenital anomalies, or congenital disabilities, are structural or functional abnormalities present at birth, affecting 1 in 50 babies. When close relatives like first cousins marry, their children face a much higher risk of birth defects and genetic disorders. The likelihood jumps from around 3% in the general population to more than 6%, mainly because these children are more likely to inherit the same hidden genetic traits from a common ancestor.
Interestingly, the Middle East, Pakistan, and the Arab or Islamic world have the highest record of birth defects, which is directly correlated to consanguineous marriages. In the UK, such abnormalities amongst Muslims or South Asian Muslims, with Pakistanis in the lead, are as high as 33%, with Bradford being the consanguineous marriage capital of the UK and Europe, recording the highest abnormality in the UK.
Nigeria is almost evenly split between Islam and Christianity. The Northern Islamic regions record over 40% polygamous marriages, with records showing men marrying women as young as ten and fathering more than a dozen children. These men are sometimes in their 60s, marry 12-year-old girls younger than their grandchildren, produce endless babies, and overpopulate Nigeria. The same is true for Islamic Niger, Burkina Faso, and Mali, stretching all the way to Senegal. The Senegalese president has two wives, with polygamy recorded at up to 48% in the country.
In Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and any Islamic country, marriage to underage girls can be as high as 50%. It is disgusting! In fact, the Islamic world, from Somalia to Senegal, Mali to Egypt, Syria to Saudi Arabia, and Iraq to Bangladesh, is the world’s capital of underage girls’ marriage. All these practices are the antithesis of progress. They are incompatible with the world we are trying to create for posterity. When you hear ‘Boko Haram’ in Nigeria, you’d think the whole of Nigeria is saturated with terrorism. No! It’s only in their regions, the Islamic northern region of Nigeria. There has not been a single terrorist attack in Igboland, Ijawland, or in the Calabar and Akwa Ibom areas of Nigeria, where not a single native is Muslim.
Whether in Egypt or Iraq, Saudi Arabia or Syria, Pakistan or Afghanistan, and the other Islamic countries, there is this introduction of the Quranic or Islamic dogma into the law of the land. Unmarried Egyptian couples can’t get a hotel room together, churches and other religions are not allowed to be built in Saudi Arabia, and during Ramadan, everyone is forced to adhere to the Islamic doctrine. The Islamic world and Muslims have not learnt to separate religion from the state. You cannot, in 2026, have a mediaeval book written by an illiterate who supposedly married a six-year-old girl, as the law of the land, to guide 21st-century people. If biblical dogma were incorporated into the law of the land in Western countries, they wouldn’t be as advanced and developed as they are. All Muslims rushing into Western countries would not have come, because it, too, would have been as backwards as Muslim countries.
Religion must be separated from state affairs. Religion is in your heart. Religion is personal! Religion forced is religion disbelieved. If you are willing to kill me for the things I said about your religion, then you should look at yourself in a mirror and say to yourself, ‘I am a monster!’ Islam is the only religion where apostasy is punishable by death. If you denounce Islam as a Muslim from Northern Nigeria, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or many Islamic-majority countries, your punishment is the death sentence. This cannot be an acceptable religion, let alone a practice.
Mubarak Bala is a Nigerian humanist who denounced Islam. He was kidnapped by the Islamic government of one of the Northern Nigerian states, then sentenced to 24 years in prison for blasphemy. Deborah Samuel Yakubu was a 19-year-old Nigerian Christian girl who was stoned to death by a mob of Muslims because she allegedly blasphemed Islam. Not a single one of the mob was convicted. Two were arrested, but the prosecution and the Islamic leadership in that godforsaken shithole dismissed the case against them. Countless Nigerian Christians have been killed in a similar style for simply disagreeing with the Islamic dogma. This religion is a danger to humanity. Islam is a cancer! Nothing threatens human rights, human harmony, and human intellectual capacity to think outside the box like Islam.
Every year, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and many Islamic countries behead humans for simply disagreeing or leaving Islam. In most countries where Islam is the majority, minority rights don’t exist. Paradoxically, when Islam is the minority, they want minority rights where anything you say that is praising the so-called religion of peace, like what I am saying right now, would be qualified as Islamophobic. Who invented that stupid term? Over the last hundred years, the Christian population in the Middle East has dramatically declined from 20% to less than 4% because Islam is not tolerant and cannot tolerate other religions when it is the majority.
Buddhists, Shintoists, Taoists, Christians, and even adherents of traditional African beliefs don’t go around threatening and killing anyone who says anything contrary to their religion. Islam is the final bane of the fictional Abrahamic religions. Yes! Christianity is fictional, Judaism is fictional, and Islam is fictional; however, Christians and Jews don’t go around hurting, threatening, and killing people, which is why Islam is the last bane of the three, as the others have improved and ignore their barbaric dogma, which is no better than Islam in theory. This is why I like the Eastern religions; they don’t go around claiming how their religion is the real one and how everyone else is worshipping the wrong god.
Northern Nigeria is a dangerous place because of Islam. Nigerian Christians in Northern Nigeria are scared to say anything because they know what would happen to them. Do you know what Muslims in Nigeria do? They have these small kettles they move around with. When they defecate, they use that kettle with their hands to wash off their shit from their arse—utterly disgusting. Everywhere they go, they carry that same disgusting kettle which they use for the arse to do their ablutions, and when they urinate in public, as is the norm in Nigeria, they use that same kettle to wash their penises. At Nigerian airports and malls, they’ve turned their toilets into an Islamic kettle-arse-washing temple—unbelievably disgusting. This religion is the antithesis of progress. The most uneducated women in Africa are the Muslim women of Nigeria, Sudan, and Somalia.
It is my opinion that Islam, when practised as dictated by the Qur’an, is the antithesis of progress for the following reasons: It promotes polygamy, underage and consanguineous marriages, death sentences for apostasy, death sentences for blasphemy, religious intolerance, the prevention of female education, economic stagnation, and its unwillingness to adapt to and improve on the realities of the day. What is this nonsense about having women wrapped up like ninjas? In the 21st century, you need women to be wrapped up like ninjas so men don’t get aroused or rape them? Well, if that’s what you need to do to prevent such men, then please let them stay in their countries.
Do you know why there have never been any Islamic terrorist attacks or threats in South Korea and Japan? Because Muslims make up less than 0.5% of the residents. Therefore, if you want peace and progress in your country, you know what to do.
