Pelumi Nubi honoured by Lagos state government
Pelumi Nubi achieved a new world record after completing a solo drive from London to Lagos yesterday.
Pelumi Nubi is a courageous travel content creator who made the audacious choice to go on a road trip from London to Lagos.
After facing several hurdles, she successfully completed the solo journey from London to Lagos in a span of 68 days. She had a cordial welcome at the University of Lagos, with several dignitaries and admirers gathering to greet her in a lavish manner.
She announced on her Instagram account that Jide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has appointed her as the official representative for tourism in the state, suggesting that the festivities are not yet over for her.
In addition to this title, the individual also received additional presents, including a residence in Lagos and a brand-new vehicle with a personalized license plate.
Sanwo-Olu stated in the video, “She will act as a representative for us in selling Lagos.”
